Dr. Gold is the Executive Director and Director of Supervision and Training for the AZRI

Dr. Gold provides supervision and training to all of the AZRI therapists. When working with an AZRI therapist, you are benefiting from Dr. Gold’s expertise through working with a therapist under her supervision and training. Dr. Gold will be reviewing video of your sessions and providing your therapist with guidance on your case. She may also provide live supervision, meaning that she would be viewing your session live and providing your therapist with guidance in real time through the use of an earpiece.

Lisa Gold, PHD, LPC
Founder & Executive Director: $225 per hour

All therapists at the Arizona Relationship Institute have, or are pursuing, advanced training and certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy. They have all completed the 4-day EFT Externship and receive a minimum of 3 hours per week of EFT supervision from Dr. Gold. They work closely with Dr. Gold on their cases and participate in live supervision and co-therapy of their cases upon request of the therapists and their clients in certain cases.

Licensed Therapists: $125 per hour

Seasoned therapists with varying specializations and expertise

Evening Sessions (5 p.m. or later) & Saturday Sessions: $150 per hour

**Face-to-face sessions are a minimum of 1 hr.**

Clients can schedule longer sessions if they would like to do so. Some clients have found it helpful, for instance, to schedule two-hour sessions every other week instead of meeting for one hour each week. Longer sessions provide the opportunity for more to be accomplished. Talk with your therapist about your specific scheduling needs and goals for counseling. They will help you develop a schedule that will work best for your specific needs.

Please be aware that therapists at The Arizona Relationship Institute, P.L.L.C., can only accept BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona insurance at this time. AZRI will submit billing to BlueCross BlueShield for clients.

Out of Network Benefits

If you have any “out-of-network benefits” for counseling, your counselings may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, depending on your policy. Upon your request, your receipt will include the codes and information required by insurance companies for reimbursement of out-of-network therapy services. It is your responsibility to submit your receipts and obtain any reimbursement from your insurance company. Also, we are not a provider for Medicaid or Medicare. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding insurance coverage, we would be a happy to clarify with you.

It is your responsibility to handle any and all insurance issues directly with your insurance company. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • Does my plan cover couple or family therapy? Or does it ONLY cover individual therapy?
